Data we collect

Our web servers - like all web servers - are logging non-personal data your browser transmits when you request a web page.
Besides these data, all the personal data we will hold and process is provided by you. We do not link your data with external data.

The sort of data we hold and process includes...

  • Data your browser transmits: your IP address of the client node, date/time of access, the browser type, the operation system of the client device, etc.
  • Data you provided by choosing an item from a list, e.g. your preferred language, which then is stored in a cookie.
  • Data you entered in a web site form, e.g. your name, e-mail address, postal address, phone numbers, etc.
  • Data you entered in a form that is used to to issue orders and to create licenses for products you bought from us, e.g. your name, your e-mail address, a host name, etc.

There is no need to register and/or provide personal data to visit our primary web sites.

How your data is used

  • We are holding and processing your data only for the purpose stated when you provided it, e.g. to answer your question by e-mail or to issue a license.
    We do not use your data to create personal profiles nor to track your activities or locations.
  • We are disclosing some of your data to our partner, methodica.ch, which ist handling your orders for us. This data may be passed on to companies processing the payments (e.g., PayPal).
    The data we are disclosing to methodica.ch is held and used by them exclusively for the purpose stated here.
  • Otherwise, we do not disclose data collected by us to third parties, unless we are forced to do so by law. The same is true for our partner, methodica.ch.
  • Where necessary, we may keep your data permanently, such as data necessary for generation of licenses or certificates. If you ask us to delete these data, we might be unable to re-create your licenses and certificates.

    In online we integrate the function for detecting bots by the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Your rights

Under der General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)  2016 you have a number of rights with regard to your personal data, the right to restrict processing, object to processing as well a in certain circumstances the right to data portability.

  • If you have provided consent after 2018-05-25 for the storage and processing of your data you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time which will not affect the lafulness of the processing before your consent was withdrawn.
  • IF you have provided personal data before 2018-05.25, we will accept your demand to "forget" your data too.

In both cases, we will no longer be able to re-issue licenses, certificates, and other products provided to you, when the process is based on the data for which you did withdraw your consent.

  • You have the right to receive information about whether, for what purpose, and which of your personal data is stored and processed by us.
  • You have the right to have us correct factually incorrect data.
  • You have the right to place a complaint to the data protection officer (DPO) if you believe that we have not complied with the requirements of th GDPR with regard to your personal data.
